Pimpri-Chinchwad Faces Garbage Crisis as Moshi Depot Reaches Capacity

The city of Pimpri-Chinchwad in India has a big problem with garbage.

The main place where they put garbage, called the Moshi Garbage Depot, is full.

The city makes a lot of garbage every day, about 1,300 tonnes, and the depot can't hold it all anymore.

The city leaders, called PCMC, are trying to find a new place for the garbage, but it's hard because people don't want a garbage dump near their homes.

The old plan for a new dump in Punawale was cancelled because people protested.

Now, the city is trying to find new ways to handle the garbage, like making energy from it, but they still need a new dump soon.
