KRS Dam Water Level Rises Significantly Due to Heavy Rainfall
The KRS dam in Karnataka has seen a big increase in its water level because of heavy rain.
The water level is now at 95.3 feet, which is much higher than last year.
The amount of water flowing into the dam has also greatly increased.
If the rain keeps up, the water level is expected to go over 100 feet soon.
This is good news as it will help Karnataka and Tamil Nadu with their water needs, especially for farming and drinking water.
KRS dam water level rose to 95.3 feet due to heavy rainfall.
The water level is significantly higher compared to 83 feet at the same time last year.
Inflow increased from 150 cusecs on Saturday to 26,424 cusecs on Wednesday.
Officials expect the water level to exceed 100 feet in the next few days if rain continues.
