Karnataka Congress Targets 2028 Return After Government’s First 100 Days

Karnataka’s Congress government has completed 100 days in office.

Its leaders said this milestone was the start of a much longer plan.

Home Minister Priyank Kharge said Congress expects to win the 2028 state election.

Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said he wants to serve Karnataka and its people.

He called his plan “Drudha Karnataka,” which means building a stronger Karnataka.

The plan includes economic growth, social support and better use of technology.

The government highlighted free student bus passes and places for government-school students in professional courses.

It also said investments could create about 66,000 jobs and that 72,000 government posts would be filled.

Officials kept the event small because the state is facing drought conditions.
