FSSAI Suspends Dior Pharma Licence Over Nutraceutical Plant Violations
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, called FSSAI, stopped Dior Pharmaceuticals from making and selling its nutraceutical products.
FSSAI found that the factory in Punjab was not following important rules about cleanliness, safety, and how food is handled.
Because of these problems, the company had to shut down until it fixes everything.
FSSAI is also checking other food and drink companies to make sure they are honest about what they sell.
This action helps keep people safe from bad or unsafe products.
FSSAI suspended Dior Pharmaceuticals’ licence for violations at its nutraceutical plant in Punjab.
Inspection revealed severe deficiencies in Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Hygiene Practices, and Food Safety Management Systems.
Regulator cited infractions in infrastructure, sanitation, pest control, storage, process controls, personnel hygiene, water quality, and record maintenance.
Licence suspension requires Dior to cease operations until all deficiencies are rectified and compliance is restored.
FSSAI has intensified enforcement against energy drink, alcoholic beverage, and e-commerce companies for misleading claims and labeling.
