Google Pixel 10 Series Introduces WhatsApp Satellite Calls
The new Google Pixel 10 phones will be the first to let you make WhatsApp calls using satellites in space!
This means you can make calls even when you don't have Wi-Fi or cell service.
A video showed the phone receiving a call with a satellite symbol on the screen.
The feature will start on August 28, when the phones are released.
However, not all phone companies will support it, and you might have to pay extra to use it.
Google Pixel 10 series will be the first phones to support WhatsApp calls over satellite.
The feature enables audio and video calls without internet or mobile networks.
Satellite calling will be available starting August 28, when the phones ship.
Only select carriers will initially support the feature.
Additional charges for satellite calls may apply.
