Ladakh's Ice Hockey League Season 3 Begins

The Ice Hockey League (IHL) is back in Ladakh for its third season, starting on January 29 and running until February 14.

This season is the biggest yet, with 16 teams competing in both men’s and women’s categories.

The defending champions, Kangs Sing for the men and Padma Chorol for the women, will be defending their titles.

The league will feature a round-robin format where each team plays every other team.

The opening day will see exciting matches, including the debut of new teams and a repeat of last season’s semi-final encounter in the women’s category.

The opening ceremony will be attended by the Chief Secretary of Ladakh and will feature a performance by the popular local band Dashugs.
