Madhya Pradesh Restores Uniform DBT for 1.25 Lakh Students

The Madhya Pradesh government will send money directly to students’ bank accounts to help them buy school uniforms.

Each eligible student will receive Rs 600 for two uniform sets.

The plan covers students from Classes 1 to 8.

In Indore, more than 1.25 lakh students are included.

Parents can use the money to buy and stitch uniforms locally.

The government changed back to direct payments because a uniform-supply tender was delayed.

Schools must check student identity and bank information first.

Parents will be able to track payments on the MP Shiksha Portal.
