Shah Sets Madhya Pradesh Dairy Target of 50 Crore Litres

Amit Shah wants Madhya Pradesh to produce 50 crore litres of milk within three years.

He said better facilities and improved cattle breeds could help reach that goal.

He spoke at a gathering of cattle rearers and dairy cooperative members in Bhopal.

Shah said dairy cooperatives can help farmers, including women, earn more.

He also said milk production could help fight malnutrition.

A new scheme is planned to let farmers earn money from cow dung.

Several dairy projects were launched or opened in the state.

The event also included financial assistance for gaushalas and dividend payments to cooperative members.
