Jindal Steel Appoints New Managing Director
Jindal Steel has appointed Vidya Rattan Sharma as its new Managing Director for a term of two years starting from July 24, 2026.
This is Sharma's second time serving in this role, having previously held the position from 2019 to 2022.
The company's board approved his appointment based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, but it is still subject to shareholder approval.
Additionally, the company has appointed Sandeep Modi as the new Chief Financial Officer, Rajiv Kumar as the Chief Operating Officer, and Sukhjit S Pasricha as the Head of Human Resources, all effective from the same date.
These appointments follow the resignation of the previous Managing Director, Gautam Malhotra.
