Iran to Receive Up to 400 Chinese MANPADS in Weeks
Iran is about to get a big shipment of small missile launchers from China.
These launchers can be carried by people and help stop enemy planes.
The deal is worth about 60 to 70 million dollars and includes 300 to 400 launchers.
They will start arriving from a city in China called Urumqi, then go through Pakistan before reaching Iran.
China says it has nothing to do with the deal and calls the reports false.
Iran is set to receive 300-400 Chinese-manufactured MANPADS within weeks.
Deal valued at $60-70 million, one of Iran’s largest air‑defence purchases.
Systems include QW‑12 and FN‑16 shoulder‑launched missiles.
Delivery will start from Urumqi, China, then transit through Pakistan to Iran.
China’s Foreign Ministry denies involvement, calling reports groundless.
