RBI Ombudsman Complaints Rise 13% in FY25

In the fiscal year 2025, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) received 13% more complaints from people about banks and financial services compared to the previous year.

This means more people are reporting problems with their banks.

Most of these complaints were about loans and credit cards.

Interestingly, complaints about using banking apps on phones went down by about 13%.

Private banks had the most complaints, while government-owned banks saw fewer complaints.

The RBI is working to address these issues and has a system to handle and resolve these complaints.
