Police Book Creator Over False Mumbai Mayor Husband Video
Rajesh Vasudev Tawde is a photography teacher and studio operator.
He found a YouTube Short that wrongly said he was married to Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde.
A neighbour sent him the video link on WhatsApp on August 26.
The video was posted by a channel called “gk-shorts-videos.”
It allegedly used photographs of Tawde and the mayor without permission.
It also gave personal information about Tawde.
Tawde complained to the Kalachowki police.
Police registered a case against an unidentified creator and are trying to find that person.
Reports describe Tawde as living in Lalbaug and also as being from Byculla.

Tawde said he learned about the video on August 26 at around 10:30 p.m. after a neighbour sent him the link on WhatsApp.
Kalachowki police began action on August 27 and are seeking technical details, including the channel operator’s IP address.
