Tirupati Collector Inspects EVM Strong Rooms in Renigunta
Tirupati’s district collector visited a secure storage facility for election machines.
The visit happened on Wednesday in Renigunta.
It was part of a regular inspection by the Election Commission.
The collector checked the cameras and other security systems.
He also looked at how the storage rooms were sealed.
Election machines called Ballot Units, Control Units and VVPAT machines were examined.
He told officials to watch the facility all day and night.

Tirupati district collector Dr S. Venkateswar inspected the EVM strong room in Renigunta on Wednesday.
The inspection was conducted as part of the Election Commission’s quarterly review.
The collector examined 24x7 surveillance, CCTV cameras and sealing procedures.
Ballot Units, Control Units and VVPAT machines stored at the facility were inspected.
Venkateswar directed officials to ensure foolproof security and round-the-clock monitoring.
