Student Stripped, Assaulted in ITI College Ragging Case

Some students at an ITI college in Madurai hurt a classmate by stripping his clothes off, hitting his genitals, and making fun of him.

This happened in the college hostel.

The student's parents complained to the authorities, and a video of the incident was shared online.

Police have filed a case against three students involved, and the hostel warden has been suspended.

This is an example of ragging, which means bullying or harassment of new students.
