DC Cartoonist Captures Bastar’s Waterfalls, Landscapes and Crafts

A cartoonist visited Bastar in Chhattisgarh for four days.

Bastar is known for beautiful nature and traditional crafts.

The cartoonist saw the Indravati River and several waterfalls.

They drew pictures of Chitrakote and Tirathgarh waterfalls while visiting them.

They also explored forests and met tribal people.

In Kondagaon, they watched local artisans make traditional crafts.

Temples and old buildings helped show Bastar’s history and spiritual traditions.

The cartoonist said the trip would remain in their memory and sketchbook.

The journey was arranged with help from the Chhattisgarh government and Cartoon Watch.
