Records Don't Show RFK Jr Funding Russian Plague Lab
A claim online says RFK Jr funded a Russian plague lab.
The article says the claim seems to mix up two different research institutions.
US government-funded research involved the Novosibirsk Institute of Cytology and Genetics.
But the records described do not show that RFK Jr personally paid for an Irkutsk plague lab.
They also do not show that US money went to plague research there.
So the records do not support the claim as stated.
The online claim appears to conflate two Russian research institutions.
