AI Reshapes Management Education as Critical Judgment Remains Essential

AI Reshapes Management Education as Critical Judgment Remains Essential

AI can now do many routine business tasks, such as finding data and making basic models.

Dr Shailesh Rastogi says students still need to learn how to judge whether AI answers are useful and correct.

They should ask questions about missing information and hidden assumptions.

Business schools should give students real problems from companies instead of relying only on textbooks and short internships.

Students should work across subjects because business problems involve money, customers, rules and technology.

Schools should also let students safely learn from failed ideas and discuss the ethical effects of business decisions.

Rastogi says future leaders need to adapt, understand people and explain complicated ideas clearly.

He believes schools and businesses should work more closely to prepare students for changing jobs.
