Mumbai Harbour Line Faces Night Traffic Blocks
Mumbai's Harbour Line trains will face disruptions this week because of an upgrade to the signal system.
From August 5th to 9th, between 10:45 PM and 3:45 AM, some trains will end their journeys early or not run at all.
This is happening so railway workers can install a new electronic interlocking system at Vashi station.
If you usually take the train during these times, be sure to check the schedule.
Traffic blocks on the CSMT-Panvel section of the Harbour Line will run from August 5 to August 9.
The blocks will be in effect between 10:45 PM and 3:45 AM.
The blocks are for commissioning electronic interlocking at Vashi station.
Several trains will be short-terminated or canceled.
Approximately 10 lakh commuters use the Harbour Line daily.
