Hobart Hurricanes Win First WBBL Title
The Hobart Hurricanes won their first-ever WBBL cricket title by beating the Perth Scorchers.
Lizelle Lee was the star player, scoring 77 runs without getting out.
She hit four sixes and ten fours, helping her team win by eight wickets.
The Hurricanes also did well in bowling, taking important wickets like Beth Mooney and Sophie Devine.
The Scorchers scored 137 runs, but it wasn't enough to stop the Hurricanes from winning.
This is a big win for the Hurricanes, as their men's team also won the BBL title last season.
Lizelle Lee scored an unbeaten 77 off 44 balls to lead the Hobart Hurricanes to their first WBBL title.
The Hurricanes won by eight wickets with five overs to spare.
Lee and Nat Sciver-Brunt had a 77-run partnership to secure the victory.
The Hurricanes restricted the Scorchers to 137 for five with key wickets from Heather Graham and Linsey Smith.
This win comes after the Hurricanes' men's team won the BBL title last season.
