Sensex and Nifty Eye Key Levels
The Indian stock markets, Sensex and Nifty, are at important levels.
Analysts think Sensex might go up to 79,200 if it crosses 78,600, but if it falls below 77,000, it might drop to 76,500.
Similarly, Nifty might rise to 24,800 if it crosses 24,500, but if it falls below 24,000, it might drop to 23,800.
The markets are doing well despite some problems like high oil prices and uncertainty about interest rates.
However, the smaller company stocks had a small drop last week.
Sensex closed at 78,151.45, with immediate resistance at 78,400–78,600 and potential rally to 79,000–79,200.
Nifty closed at 24,334.30, with immediate resistance at 24,400–24,500 and potential rally to 24,700–24,800.
Broader market saw profit booking with Midcap and Smallcap indices ending the week marginally lower.
Analysts expect Sensex support at 77,600–77,300 and Nifty support at 24,000 and 23,800.
Market sentiment remains strong despite geopolitical tensions, elevated crude oil prices, and global interest-rate uncertainty.
