CISF Seizes 22 High-End Drones Worth Rs 26.7 Lakh at RGIA
Airport security in Hyderabad, India, stopped a person who had just flown in from Singapore.
The security team noticed the person exchanging bags with someone else, which seemed suspicious.
They checked the bags and found 22 expensive drones, along with controllers and parts.
These drones are worth a lot of money.
The security guards then gave the drones to another government group called customs to handle.
This is part of the security team's job to stop illegal items from being brought into the country through airports.
CISF personnel at RGIA in Hyderabad seized 22 high-end drones, remote controllers, and accessories valued at Rs. 26.7 lakh.
The seizure occurred after CISF observed a suspicious bag exchange between an international arrival passenger from Singapore and another individual.
The drones identified were DJI Mini 5 Pro models.
The recovered items were handed over to the customs wing for further legal action.
The CISF is committed to preventing smuggling and securing India's aviation gateways.
