Delhi High Court Raises Concerns Over HPV Vaccine Safety

The Delhi High Court is worried about the safety of the HPV vaccine Gardasil 9, which is being given to 14-year-old girls for free to prevent cervical cancer.

Some people, like Dr. Sujata Mittal and Jitendra Chouksey, say the vaccine has caused serious problems in the past, like deaths and autoimmune diseases.

They want the government to show data on any bad reactions from the vaccine.

The government and the World Health Organization (WHO) say the vaccine is safe and is used in many countries.

The court wants more information and will hear the case again on July 29.

The WHO says that more girls are getting the vaccine, but not enough to meet the goal of 90% coverage by 2030.
