Barcelona President: Messi Playing Return Unrealistic, Tribute Planned

Lionel Messi, a famous soccer player who used to play for Barcelona, visited the team's stadium, Camp Nou.

After his visit, Messi said he hopes to play for Barcelona again one day to give fans a proper goodbye as a player.

However, the president of Barcelona, Joan Laporta, said it's not realistic for Messi to play for the team again.

He believes Barcelona is more important than any single player and that it's not the right time to talk about Messi playing for them.

Laporta also said that Messi's visit was spontaneous and that Camp Nou is his home.

Instead of a playing return, Barcelona wants to give Messi a special tribute match at Camp Nou once the stadium renovations are finished.

This match would be a way to honor Messi in front of thousands of fans.
