Houthi Attacks Wound 11 Civilians in Southern Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia and Yemen are neighboring countries in the Middle East.

For more than four years, a group from Yemen called the Houthis has been fighting with Saudi Arabia.

Late on Thursday night, the Houthis launched an attack on southern Saudi Arabia.

The attack hit a region called Najran, which is right next to the border with Yemen.

Eleven people were hurt, and they were ordinary citizens, not soldiers.

Seven of the hurt people were from Saudi Arabia, two were from Egypt, one was from Yemen, and one was from Pakistan.

A general who speaks for Saudi Arabia's side told reporters what happened.

He said this was the worst attack on civilians in more than four years of fighting.

The news does not say whether anyone was seriously hurt or exactly how the attack happened.
