Arunachal CM Dismisses PLA Face-Off Reports as Rumours in Taksing
Some people shared videos on the internet showing soldiers from India and China standing close to each other at a faraway border place called Taksing.
The videos made many people worried.
Taksing is in a state of India called Arunachal Pradesh.
The leader of that state, Pema Khandu, said he does not think a fight happened.
He said he wants to talk to local people and the army to check the truth.
He reminded everyone that Indian soldiers are already there looking after the land.
Videos on the internet are not always true, so people should wait for real information.
A local leader named Karu Chader had earlier said China built camps, roads, and bridges on tribal lands.
Everyone is waiting for more news to find out what really happened.
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu dismissed reports of a fresh Chinese incursion and stand-off as 'rumours'.

Social media images and videos timestamped July 26, 2026 purportedly showed the face-off, which may have begun a day earlier on July 25.
Khandu said he would verify the claims by speaking to locals and the Indian Army, adding that Indian Army personnel are deployed and maintaining the territory.
