Delhi Seizes Counterfeit Abhayrab Vaccine Supply Traced to Kanpur

The Delhi Drugs Control Department seized counterfeit Abhayrab rabies vaccine from a firm in Central Delhi’s Bhagirath Palace.
The supply was traced to a supplier in Kanpur, according to a government release.
Raids at three premises resulted in the seizure of 481 vaccine units valued at about Rs 2 lakh.

Indian Immunologicals Limited said all Abhayrab batches undergo independent government testing and authorised supplies remain unaffected.
