Father's three-word answer on 130-year legacy stuns daughter

Father's three-word answer on 130-year legacy stuns daughter

Sarah's dad owns a very old antiques shop that has been in their family for 130 years.

He is a very private man who always kept his business to himself.

One day, while recording a podcast, he was handed a piece of paper.

He was told to imagine that everything he had built disappeared overnight.

Only the words he wrote on the paper would survive.

Everybody expected him to write about his business and his legacy.

Instead, he wrote just three words: 'Keep my memory.'

He explained that Sarah will probably live much longer than him.

So she will be the one to remember him, and memories are better than possessions.

Happy family holidays and time with grandchildren are what he values most.
