New Betul-Khandwa Highway Could Cut Indore-Nagpur Travel Time

A new four-lane road called the Betul-Khandwa highway has received approval.

It is expected to make journeys between Indore and Nagpur much faster.

Today, that trip can take about 13 to 14 hours.

The new road could reduce the journey to about six hours.

It will connect cities in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat.

It will also link important airports, railway stations and a logistics park.

Pilgrims may find it easier to travel between Ujjain and Omkareshwar during Simhastha 2028.

Officials expect the road to help trade and transportation in the region.
