Ranchi Prepares for Grand Dussehra Celebrations Despite Rain
Dussehra is coming to Ranchi, and people are getting ready for the main event called Ravan Dahan!
This is when they burn a giant figure of the evil king Ravana to show that good always wins.
The Punjabi Hindu Community is organizing it.
Even though it has been raining, they are still working hard to make it special.
There will be a huge figure of Ravana, along with figures of other characters, plus fireworks from experts and performances by artists!
The Chief Minister is expected to attend the event.
Preparations are underway for Ravan Dahan at Morabadi Ground in Ranchi.
The event, organized by the Punjabi Hindu Community, will feature a 70-foot Ravana effigy.
Effigies of Kumbhakarna and Meghnath are also being prepared.
Fireworks display is planned by teams from Mumbai and Kolkata.
Cultural performances by artists from Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh are scheduled.
