Jaipur's JMC to Release Revised Ward Map in Early June
Imagine Jaipur is like a big pizza, and each slice is a ward.
The city is changing how these slices are cut.
Instead of lots of small slices, they're making fewer, bigger ones.
This means each person who represents a slice will now be in charge of more people and a larger area.
The new slices are made considering where people live and what they do to make sure it's fair.
They're also trying to group people with similar backgrounds together.
This makes it easier for the people in charge to help the city and solve any problems.
Revised ward map for Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) to be released in early June.
The new map reduces the number of wards from 250 to 150.
Ward formation considered topography, population density, and population profile.
Councillors will represent larger populations and areas in the new structure.
Efforts made to keep residents of similar backgrounds within the same ward.
