India's Ministry of Ayush Partners with IndiaAI Mission
India’s government is trying to mix old medicine with new computer tricks.
The Ministry of Ayush, which looks after Ayurveda, and a tech group called IndiaAI Mission made a deal.
They will share data and computer tools so scientists can study plants and treatments better.
The plan is to put all this information in a big online library called AIKosh.
If it works, people could find new cures faster and use Ayurveda more safely.
Ministry of Ayush and IndiaAI Mission signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The goal is to use AI to make traditional medicine evidence‑based and more accessible.
Ayush will provide research data, AI models, and tools to the national AI repository AIKosh.
Researchers will gain access to high‑performance computing for advanced AI models.
The partnership is part of a broader digital transformation of Ayurveda through Ayush Grid.
