Himachal Approves MSP for Processing Grade Fruits
The Himachal Pradesh government has approved a scheme to buy certain types of mangoes, citrus fruits, and apples at a fixed price.
This is to help fruit farmers get a fair price for their produce.
The government will buy these fruits through a special organization called HPMC.
They will also set up 42 places where farmers can bring their fruits.
The scheme will start in 2026 and will last until August 31 of that year.
