Tamil Nadu Secures ₹43,844 Crore in New Investments
Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister, MK Stalin, announced that the state has attracted ₹43,844 crore in new investments.
This was done through 158 agreements signed at an event called TN Rising in Coimbatore.
The state is popular for investments because it has a skilled workforce and a good environment for businesses.
Two big companies, Sakthi Aircraft and Cingularity Aerospace, made big investments.
Sakthi Aircraft will make a special kind of airplane and create 1,200 jobs.
Cingularity Aerospace will make drones and create 500 jobs.
The Chief Minister said that these investments will help Tamil Nadu become a leader in making airplanes and drones in India.
Tamil Nadu secured ₹43,844 crore in new investments through 158 MoUs signed at the TN Rising event in Coimbatore.
Sakthi Aircraft will establish a state-of-the-art 2-seater trainer aircraft manufacturing unit in Tirupur district with a ₹500 crore investment, creating 1,200 high-skilled jobs.
Cingularity Aerospace will set up an advanced drone manufacturing facility in Krishnagiri district with a ₹50 crore investment, ensuring 500 high-skilled jobs.
The investments are expected to place Tamil Nadu at the forefront of India's aerospace and drone manufacturing sectors.
