Revanth Reddy accuses BRS of keeping BCs from power

In India, there is a leader named A. Revanth Reddy who is in charge of a state called Telangana.

He gave a speech in the city of Hyderabad after showing new statues of two famous teachers, Jyotiba Phule and Savitribai Phule, who wanted everyone to learn to read.

In his speech, Mr. Reddy said the old government did not want people from a group called Backward Classes to become leaders.

He said the old government only encouraged them to look after animals like sheep, goats and cows.

Mr. Reddy's new government wants these children to get a good education and useful skills.

His government will pay school fees for students, and the money will go straight into their bank accounts so colleges cannot hold back their certificates.

The government is also starting new skill classes for children from nursery level, and it provides breakfast at school.

He told young people that there are many good jobs in faraway countries like Germany and Japan.

He hopes that children will grow up to become doctors, engineers, police officers and leaders.

He said that learning and living together can help end unfairness between different groups of people.
