Training Program Under NAKSHA Scheme to Begin on Monday
Imagine a plan to map out all the land in cities to make it easier to know who owns what.
The government is training people to do this using special technology.
They are teaching officers how to use the latest tools to measure and map land accurately.
This training is part of the NAKSHA program, which will happen in four different locations.
The goal is to help cities update their records, especially since a lot more people will be living in cities soon.
This helps keep track of land and make sure everything is clear.
The Department of Land Resources will launch the second batch of the NAKSHA capacity-building program.
The training program will commence Monday across four Centers of Excellence in India.
128 ULB-level and district officers from 74 Urban Local Bodies will participate.
Training will provide skills in geospatial technologies for urban property surveys.
