NITI Aayog Highlights India's GDP Disparities
India has states with very different levels of income.
Some states have a lot of money, even though they don't have the most people.
Other states have many people but less money.
This difference means each state might need a different plan to grow.
Some states that were behind are now doing better.
Lots more people are working now, especially women in farming.
Some of these workers are not paid, but still help their families and contribute to the economy.
High-income states contribute 44% of GDP with 26% of the population.
Low-income states generate 19% of GDP with 38% of the population.
NITI Aayog suggests different development strategies for states.
Some previously lagging states are now performing well.
Aggregate employment has increased, with 80 million women in agriculture.
