K C Venugopal Distances Himself From Congress Leaders’ Kerala Remarks

K C Venugopal said people should not connect him to every opinion expressed by Congress leaders.

Adoor Prakash had criticized the Kerala government for not consulting the UDF enough.

Venugopal said party disagreements should be discussed privately in official party meetings.

He said Congress has ways to address even small internal problems.

He disagreed with discussing party matters publicly.

Venugopal said he had not criticized the government during the previous four months.

He said Congress leaders would work together to meet people’s expectations.

He also said Sunny Joseph was still the permanent KPCC president.

Any decision about Joseph stepping down would be made by the AICC president.
