India Open Badminton Moved to Larger Venue
The India Open badminton tournament is moving to a bigger stadium called the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium.
This change is because the old place was too small, and they want more people to watch the games.
The tournament will happen from January 13 to 18.
Tickets are available online and start at Rs 400.
Some of the best badminton players from around the world, like PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen, will be playing.
The new stadium can hold over 8,000 people, which is more than double the old one.
This is also a test for the World Championships that India will host next year.
The BWF India Open Super 750 badminton tournament will be held at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium from January 13 to 18.
The new venue has a seating capacity of over 8,000, more than double the previous venue.
Tickets for the India Open are available exclusively online through Ticmint, priced from Rs 400 onwards, with premium seating capped at Rs 1,750.
The event will feature global stars such as An Se-young, PV Sindhu, Kunlavut Vitidsarn, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy, Chirag Shetty, and Lakshya Sen.
The tournament serves as a test venue for the World Championships that India will host in August next year.
