DDA to Build Marketplaces, Cafes and Eateries at Delhi's Parks
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is creating new places to eat and shop near the Yamuna River.
They're building a temporary market with stalls at Baansera.
At Asita, they're turning the tent cafes into a garden cafe and also building a cafe from shipping containers.
In Yamuna Vatiika, an old bus is being turned into a cafe to serve food quickly.
The DDA wants to make these areas more appealing for people to visit, and they're asking businesses to bid for the space.
DDA plans to establish a temporary marketplace at Baansera with at least 15 stalls.
A garden cafe is planned at Asita, replacing the existing tent cafes.
A container-based facility is set to be developed at Asita Plaza.
A decommissioned DTC bus will be converted into a Bus Kitchen Café in Yamuna Vatiika.
The DDA is inviting investors for an e-auction of these commercial spaces.
