Four Arrested in Rs. 140 Crore Fraud Scheme in Vijayawada
Imagine a company that promised people they could make a lot of money by giving them their savings.
This company, called Advika Trading Marketing Company, told over 1,100 people they would get special high returns on their money.
However, the company didn't actually make the money and instead used people's savings like a game of passing money around.
When the company shut down, the people who gave their money lost a lot, about 140 crore rupees in total.
The police investigated for a long time and finally arrested the main person in charge, his wife, and two helpers.
They found that the company started in 2022 and took money from many people, even using an account in Dubai.
The police are trying to get back the money and have seized some of the things the accused had, like cash, gold, and a car.
Four individuals, including the main accused, his wife, and two agents, have been arrested in Vijayawada for a Rs. 140 crore fraud.
