Collector Inspects School and Health Centre
The District Collector, Dr A Siri, visited a school and a health centre in Chippagiri.
At the school, she talked to teachers, students, and staff.
She told them to make sure no student drops out before Class 10 exams and to help students do well in their exams.
She also talked about the bad effects of child marriages and how students should focus on their studies.
The Collector also checked the school's food and cleanliness and told them to make improvements.
She even called two students who had dropped out and encouraged them to come back to school.
Later, she visited the health centre.
There, she talked about the importance of taking care of pregnant women to keep them and their babies safe.
She checked the records and told the doctors and nurses to be on time for work, take care of high-risk pregnancies, and have enough medicine.
She also talked to a new mom to see how well the hospital was taking care of patients.
The Collector was joined by other important officials during her visits.
District Collector Dr A Siri inspected Zilla Parishad High School and directed teachers to ensure zero dropout rate and 100% pass rate in SSC exams.
She reviewed attendance, interacted with students and staff, and instructed the Headmaster to counsel parents of dropout students.
The Collector emphasized the importance of setting life goals, avoiding distractions, and dedicated study for a better future.
She announced a 100-day action plan for SSC results starting December 6, involving daily revision sessions and evening assessments.
