Biplab Kumar Deb, a BJP leader, attacked West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, comparing her to Mir Jafar, who betrayed a historical ruler.
Deb claimed that Mamata Banerjee's governance has tarnished the name 'Mamata,' which means kindness, to the extent that people may not name their daughters Mamata anymore.
