Murshidabad MPs urge Bengal CM to halt mosque loudspeaker removal

Murshidabad MPs urge Bengal CM to halt mosque loudspeaker removal

Some elected leaders called Members of Parliament, or MPs, went to meet the leader of their state in West Bengal, India.

They were worried because loudspeakers were being taken away from mosques, places where Muslim people pray.

The MPs said this was unfair and that Muslim people were being treated badly.

They asked the state leader to stop taking away the loudspeakers so people could pray.

A few days before, the MPs also talked to a big leader in Delhi, the country's capital, about the same problem.

The MPs also asked for help with a different issue: many people's names had been removed from voter lists.

They wanted the courts to decide these cases quickly because the delays were causing problems.

The MPs asked for all these cases to be finished by December 31.

The MPs said everyone should follow the court's rules, but they still thought taking away the loudspeakers was wrong.
