Suresh Gopi quips income dried up as event invitations drop
Suresh Gopi is a very famous movie actor from a place in India called Kerala.
He acted in many films and became a big star.
He also works in politics and helps the government.
Lately, fewer people have been asking him to come to their special events.
In the past, people paid him money to open new shops and buildings.
He joked that this money has now dried up, like a river with no water.
He said he is not sad about it and believes God will take care of him.
He hopes a new event he opened in Alappuzha will be a fresh start.
He still loves what he does and is happy with his life.
Actor-turned-politician Suresh Gopi admitted his income from celebrity events has dipped as invitations have fallen.
He made the remarks while inaugurating a private establishment in Alappuzha.
Gopi said he has no complaints, adding that whatever God has decided will happen and hoping the event marks a restart for him as an inaugurator.
He is a BJP MP representing Thrissur constituency in Kerala and the Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas.
His Malayalam film career declined in the 2000s after his 1990s action-hero peak; he was most recently seen in JSK: Janaki V v/s State of Kerala (2025).
