Farmer Killed in Tiger Attack in Karnataka's Mysuru
A 58-year-old farmer in the Mysuru district of Karnataka was tragically killed by a tiger while walking to his farm.
This happened in a forest area known as the Nugu Wildlife Sanctuary.
Sadly, this is not the first time people in this area have been attacked by tigers, with two other farmers having lost their lives recently.
The villagers are very worried about their safety and are upset with the forest officials, feeling that not enough is being done to prevent these attacks.
They are angry because they believe officials knew about the tiger's presence but did not take sufficient measures to protect people.
The state's Chief Minister has promised to hold a meeting to discuss the issue and take action.
