Russian Envoy Vows Oil Supplies Amid Western Sanctions

Russia’s ambassador said Russia wants to keep selling oil to India.

He said Russia can supply as much oil as India wants.

Some Western countries have introduced sanctions and tariffs connected to Russian oil.

The ambassador called these measures pressure tactics.

He argued that the world still needs Russian oil for energy supplies.

He also praised India for leading BRICS in 2026.

India has held hundreds of BRICS meetings and promoted projects involving energy, technology and trade.

The next BRICS Summit is planned for September 12–13, 2026, in New Delhi.
