Anil Kumar Appointed School Education Secretary
TK Anil Kumar, an experienced IAS officer, has taken over as the Secretary of the Department of School Education and Literacy.
He was previously an Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Rural Development.

Meanwhile, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has fired 47 officials due to controversies over paper leaks.
Additionally, Pradhan resigned from the Union Cabinet to prevent protests over examination irregularities from being exploited by anti-national forces.
TK Anil Kumar, a 1995-batch IAS officer, assumed charge as Secretary of the Department of School Education and Literacy on July 24, 2026.
He brings extensive administrative experience from his previous role as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Rural Development.
