Communities Advocate for Nomadic Board, Celebrate Liberation Day
Several communities, including Banjara and Gadia, met with a Delhi minister to ask for help.
They want a special board to help them, like the Nomadic Development Board.
They also want to make sure their names are on important documents.
This meeting was to get ready for a special day called Vimukt and Semi-Nomadic Community Day.
The minister said the government will help celebrate this day.
These groups were once treated unfairly a long time ago, but they fought for their freedom.
Now, they celebrate a day to remember their freedom and show their culture.
Representatives from various communities met with a Delhi minister to request a Nomadic Development Board.
The communities also requested the inclusion of DNT in caste certificates.
