Kurnool TDP Factional Rivalries Intensify Ahead of Local Body Polls
The Telugu Desam Party is facing disagreements among its leaders in Kurnool district.
The disagreements are happening before local elections.
One dispute is about who should lead the party in the Adoni area.
Gudise Krishnamma is reportedly seeking control of that position.
Meenakshi Naidu’s supporters oppose the possible change.
Another disagreement involves P Tikka Reddy’s supporters in Mantralayam.
His group did not attend an important party meeting on August 25.
Party leaders must decide how to manage the groups so the party can compete effectively in the elections.
Internal rivalries among senior Telugu Desam Party leaders have intensified in Kurnool district.
District president Gudise Krishnamma reportedly complained about former Adoni MLA Meenakshi Naidu and Mantralayam leader P Tikka Reddy.
