Paytm CEO Urges More AI Champions for India's Future
Paytm’s boss, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, said that India needs more people who can use artificial intelligence (AI) to help everyday people.
He told a big audience in New Delhi that companies should spend money on new tech like AI and chips instead of just making money from old ideas.
He said that building new technology will help India grow and become a strong country by 2047.
He also reminded everyone that making the country better comes before making a business big.
He gave his speech at a lecture named after J.R.D. Tata, a famous Indian industrialist.
Paytm CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma urged India to develop more AI champions to reach grassroots communities.
He called for increased investment and capability building in AI, semiconductors, and future technologies.
